Vivacity is a high- energy and versatile group featuring stellar musicians and the original dance band instrument- the xylophone! Based in Orlando, Florida, the band was formed in 2007 to perform for swing dances and resort entertainment. Today, they can be heard entertaining for audiences of all ages at community events, parties, theatres, dances and conventions. The band has a unique neo-vaudeville sound with strong roots in New Orleans music. Vivacity boasts an extensive songlist of original arrangements of music from the 1920s to the Great American Songbook and beyond.

A fantastic band with very talented musicians, wonderful arrangements and classic songs! They capture the essence of a time gone by with their retro outfits and old-time nostalgia! I’ve even seen them do live recreations of old-time radio shows just the way they used to be done back in the day, complete with reading commercials for popular products from the radio era. So fun!
